Croft Cottage cottage North York Moors and Coast
Croft Cottage is a detached stone cottage in Pickering, North Yorkshire. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a king-size double and a twin. There is also a family bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and sitting room with a gas fire. Outside there is an enclosed lawned and gravelled garden with decking, furniture and BBQ, as well as an external basin and WC and a snug with a bar and a dartboard. With lovely shops, quaint tea rooms, excellent pubs and restaurants, trout fishing, and a castle, the town of Pickering has something to satisfy every taste. The market town of Pickering serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway whilst fans of the Harry Potter films will recognise some of the locations used in the Philosopher`s Stone! The Beck Isle Museum is within easy reach and is well worth visiting for its unique collection of black and white photography and displays of rural life. The rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife of the North York Moors make them a wonderful place for walking and cycling, whilst the city of York and the Heritage Coast are just half an hour`s drive away.
