Located just 1.5 miles from Llangynidr and Bwlch guests have a few villages to explore not far from the property. Crickhowell is slightly further afield (8 miles) and is worth a visit to peruse the independent shops farm shops Black Mountains Smokery restaurants and pubs. Whether you are looking for an active outdoor holiday or a relaxing break just pottering around this property offers something for everyone. Explore the Brecon Beacons National Park on foot or by bicycle or simply watch nature from the banks of the River Usk or even from the window of the mill with a warming cup of tea in hand. Painted by numerous artists in the past this mill has really captured creative imaginations and creates a unique space that feels very special indeed. The large sitting room is a great place to gather friends or family together and boasts 18th-century wood panelling with oak beams a high ceiling and large windows. Theres a grand fireplace with an open fire for cosy nights in and comfortable sofas and chairs where you can sit and relax. Guests will also find an 8-foot snooker table piano organ music system and dining table and benches. Sit by the observation window where the original waterwheel was located or keep your family entertained in the second lounge which has a sofa chairs and TV with Sky Sports and a DVD player. Theres plenty of space for meals to be prepared in the kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you will need. Theres also a multi-purpose utility room with boot storage and a washing machine and tumble dryer handy after muddy walks. Four of the bedrooms are located downstairs two twins and two doubles. There is also a bathroom with a separate shower on this floor. The top floor double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. A games room with dartboard and table tennis completes this property and gives it yet another reason why its great for groups of friends Guests can enjoy the well-kept garden which has its own pond. Here you can sit on the picnic table and chairs and enjoy your evening meal al fresco. To explore a little further you can go through the gate and meander through the meadows; there are 11 acres of land available to explore. Fishing available (license needed). Nearest village, 1.5 miles. For safety reasons due to the close proximity to the water, children must be under strict supervision at all times. The property is accessed via a steep driveway. No fireworks due to livestock nearby. WiFi not available at this property. No mobile reception (payphone is available).
