Located in the village of Mitcheldean, this pretty end of terrace is tucked away behind the striking 17th Century church and is perfect for couples or small families that want to stay in a village but remain a short drive away from Cheltenham and a wealth of pretty towns, attractions and days out.
Ideally situated as a perfect gateway to the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley, this cottage offers a quiet and quirky retreat. The Forest of Dean is well known for its walks and outdoor activities, such as the Sculpture Trail, Go Ape or enjoy the history of the Dean Heritage Centre or perhaps spend a day by the river at Symonds Yat looking for the nesting Peregrine Falcons or viewing the magnificent Tintern Abbey ruins, 30 minute drive away.
The light and spacious accommodation has ONE double bedroom: with TV. Shower room: downstairs with WC.
Lounge: with woodburner in inglenook fireplace (first basket of logs included), TV / DVD, Freeview and wi-fi. Kitchen / diner: well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Utility room: with freezer.
Outside: with enclosed seating and lawn area to the rear of the property. Bike store.
Amenities: parking available locally weekly ticket provided. Bed linen, towels, electric, gas central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking in the property. 1 medium dog welcome.
Location: fishing lakes 4 miles, pub, shops and café in village of Mitcheldean. Arrival: 3.30pm.
