Highcroft is a semi-detached cottage in a rural location 1.6 miles from Turnditch. The cottage has a double and a twin, along with a house bathroom and additional ground floor cloakroom. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a private patio area with furniture and countryside views, as well as shared use of owners` field. Highcroft is a great family base for enjoying walking, the towns of Belper and Ashbourne, and historic houses, or simply relaxing and watching the owners` small herd of deer.
Situated in the Amber Valley, Turnditch is a charming hillside village in Derbyshire. The village has a church and two public houses and the neighbouring village of Hulland Ward has a petrol station, post office and a shop, providing most amenities visitors will need. The market towns of Belper and Ashbourne are close by for more shops and restaurants and other attractions in the area include walking and cycling trails and water sports at Carsington Water with fishing available on the River Derwent. Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House and Park are within easy reach, and there are many delightful towns and villages in the Peak District. The village of Turnditch makes an ideal base to discover the stunning Peak District and surrounding area all year round and is a great place for a holiday.
