Derwas cottage Wales
Derwas exudes charm and character. Individually styled rooms in contemporary colours, tasteful soft furnishings, interesting art and a mix of old and new that complement each other so well. Just a short drive to the seaside, the North Wales Footpath, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Zoo or you can stay put and lap up the peace and beauty around you.
"Derwas is a house for laughter, fun and memorable times together. We all love Derwas!"
The interior is fun and relaxing and thoughtfully designed, in a sublime location lovely all year round. Close to Surf Snowdonia.
The windows and garden offer lovely views of the rolling North Wales countryside, yet you are only a few miles away from the coast and bustling villages.
Situated in the county of Conwy you can easily access coast, mountains, countryside and town - walking, climbing, hiking, golf, shooting, fishing and all manner of watersports. There are also historic castles, local market towns, museums and gardens to explore. If you want something a bit more cosmopolitan the walled city of Chester is less than half an hour away - you will never get bored!
The pleasant seaside town of Abergele stands on the lovely North Wales coastline and is ideally positioned between the stunning Vale of Clwyd and the lovely Conwy Valley. Renowned for the impressive Gwrych Castle which overlooks the town, and its enormous sandy beach, the whole area offers safe bathing waters and excellent watersports facilities. There is also a coastal cycle path which runs along the Abergele seafront, and for walking enthusiasts, the Offa`s Dyke pathway, the Clwydian Hill Range and beautiful Betws-y-Coed known as the "Gateway to Snowdonia" are all nearby. The beautiful castles of Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, Conwy and Caernarfon are not to be missed, and the delightful award-winning Victorian town of Llandudno, offering quality shops, restaurants, a fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides over the Great Orme, is within easy driving distance. There is plenty to do in this wonderful region at any time of the year!
