Derwent Cottage cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
Derwent Cottage is an attractive, stone-built property located in Keswick in the Lake District. Hosting three second-floor bedrooms, including a super-king-size (zip/link), double and single bedded, along with a bathroom and ground-floor shower room, this cottage can sleep five people. Derwent Cottage is a superb family base, with easy access to many delights within the Lake District.
The award-winning market town of Keswick lies between Skiddaw and the Derwentwater in the Lake District. It offers a wide range of attractions for visitors, from shops and restaurants to museums and boating trips around Derwentwater. There are also general market stands every Thursday and Saturday in the centre of the village, offering visitors a chance to pick up quality local goods. Walking in this area is beautiful, with the heights of Skiddaw and Catbells on the doorstep, as well as the tranquility of Derwentwater, which offers a more gentle walk.
