Dove Cottage cottage The Lake District and Cumbria

Dove Cottage is a charming barn conversion set on the owner`s working farm in the village of Milton near to Brampton in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom as well as a bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Located in stunning countryside, Dove Cottage is a wonderful base for a great holiday.

The small rural village of Milton is ideally placed for exploring northern Cumbria, including not-to-be-missed Hadrian`s Wall, and the dramatic northern Lake District National Park. The market town of Brampton has a rich and colourful history going back to the Roman occupation. Bonnie Prince Charlie established his headquarters in one of the old buildings in Brampton, which is now a shop.
