Drumfad Barn cottage Scotland

Drumfad Barn is an all ground floor semi-detached barn conversion near the village of Port William. The cottage is one of two set near the owner`s property and sleeps five people in two bedrooms; a king-size double with an en-suite shower room and a family room with three single beds and an en-suite shower room. There is also an open-plan living area with a kitchen and dining area and a sitting area which is down a couple of steps. Outside there is off road parking and a lawned garden. Drumfad Barn provides a fantastic base with a number of opportunities for days out nearby.

Dating from the end of the eighteenth century, the fishing village of Port William sits on the east side of Luce Bay on the Machars peninsula in the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland. There is much history in the area from early Christian sites through to more recent smuggling activities. The picturesque harbour that dates from the 18th century offers sea angling and is ideal for sailors too.
