Dumbuie cottage Northumbria
Dumbuie is a beautifully refurbished townhouse situated on one of the main streets in the heart of the popular Northumberland town of Haltwistle and can sleep ten people in five bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with an open fire, and a modern kitchen/diner with a dining table large enough to seat all guests. There are four stylish double bedrooms on the first floor, along with a contemporary family bathroom and a master double bedroom featuring a beautiful en-suite bathroom can be found on the second floor. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, and off road parking for two cars. Drambuie is a fabulous property in a fantastic area for that long awaited family holiday.
Known as the `Centre of Britain`, the small market town of Haltwhistle is a great place from which to explore both Northumberland and Cumbria. One of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian`s Wall is only a mile to the north with various museums, forts and milecastles to be seen. This truly is magnificent walking, riding and cycling country, with various bridleways and cycle routes passing rivers, forests, castles and of course, Hadrian`s Wall.
