This period detached cottage is on the edge of the village adjoining Glen Clova. It has been in the same family since 1860 and was originally the Post Office, on the Earl of Airlie's estate.
The cottage is situated 4 miles from the quaint old town of Kirriemuir. Fishing for salmon and trout on the South Esk, 1 1 / 2 miles, golf course in Kirriemuir. Other places of interest include historic houses, beautiful gardens, Glamis Castle, St Andrews and Captain Scott's Discovery in the city of Dundee.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin.
Bathroom: with separate shower.
Lounge: with open fire, 2 TV's, DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen / dining / morning room: with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer / dryer and woodburner.
Outside: large, enclosed, secluded garden with seating and BBQ.
Amenities: Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, electric, night storage heating and fuel included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets.
Additional info: Walkers and cyclists award, boot room and verandah for sports equipment, children over 6 years welcome. Short breaks are charged as follows: 3 & 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 & 6 nights will be the full weekly rate.
