East Cottage cottage Northumbria
East Cottage is a lovely little holiday let nestled in the picturesque countryside of Northumberia, near the attractive village of Haydon Bridge. Comprising three bedrooms; a double, a single and a twin, this property can sleep five people. Inside is also a family bathroom, a ground floor cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, and sitting room with double sofa bed and a multi-fuel stove. Outside is a rear enclosed garden and ample off-road parking. East Cottage provides a quality break away from home in a delightful region of England.
Haydon Bridge is a pretty village situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, a short drive away from the remains of the Roman Forts on Hadrians Wall, a World Heritage Site. There is plenty of walking available, with Allen Banks just 3 miles away. Amenities in the village include a railway station, a variety of shops, pubs, a local tourist information centre, churches and riverside walks. Hexham and Haltwhistle are slightly further afield with many more amenities and attractions on offer including Hexham Abbey and the 14th-century old gaol.
