Whether its spotting wildlife walking through the woods or angling from the nearby lake there are plenty of ways to enjoy the immediate area and beyond. Thetford Forest is within easy reach and offers excellent walking and cycling routes and high wire attractions for the more adventurous among you. The beautiful Suffolk and Norfolk coasts and trips to charming resorts such as Southwold Dunwich Sheringham and Cromer provide a great day out and inland attractions include National Trust and English Heritage properties Banham Zoo and the historic cities of Norwich and Bury St Edmunds both within easy reach. As you approach this woodland lodge on the owners vast and picturesque estate you start to get a sense of just how wonderful your surroundings are whilst you drive past the fishing lake and cow fields before arriving at your lodge and beginning your holiday. You arrive into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has absolutely everything you need for that home away from home feel. The chef amongst you will have all you need to prepare a light snack or a meal with an electric oven and hob microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment. The lounge area is cosy and comfortable with a sofa well positioned in front of the Smart TV perfect to stream your favourite shows whist you rest those tired legs after a long day out exploring the area and finally if you decide to dine in then there is a table and two chairs provided. The bedroom not only has a view out into the woods but also has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. Open the bi-fold doors in the lounge take in the fresh air and the gorgeous views perfect to enjoy some cocktails and al fresco dining while watching the sun go down from your decking area. Please be aware there is no enclosed area outside so please be mindful if you have a dog with you. The lodge is also in close proximity to a Woodland Classroom which hosts a supported education provision for young people and may be in operation during your stay. The property is situated on a working farm with livestock including pigmy goats and a range of other small animals. There is private off-road parking outside your lodge for up to two vehicles. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 king size. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Decked area with seating. Off road parking for 2 cars. 1 dog welcome must be kept on a lead when exploring the estate. Shop, pub, restaurant within 0.5 miles. Fishing in the 1 acre lake please note that from. 15th March 15th June each year fishing is not permitted. Property is located on a working farm with livestock. There is no internet at the property but guests can use their own 4G devices.
