Newly built property located on an old railway station platform with elevated views over Bideford and river glimpses. Situated right on the Tarka trail making this the perfect retreat for families, walkers and cyclists.
You will be within easy walking distance of Bideford’s shops, pannier market, family pubs serving food, restaurants and park. An ideal base for exploring the whole of North Devon, there are attractions to suit all tastes including RHS Rosemoor Gardens, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, The Oldenburg for pleasure trips to Lundy Island and more. The 2 miles of golden sandy beach at Westward Ho! is a 5 minute drive as are leisure facilities such as riding, swimming pool and Royal North Devon Golf Course which is the oldest links course in England. Enjoy a stroll or bike ride along the Tarka trial directly from the property.
The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with super king-size zip-and-link which can be made into twin beds on request, with en-suite shower room with WC, and 1 double room. Both bedrooms have river glimpses. 1 single room at the rear.
Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor.
Lounge: with flatscreen TV, DVD and french doors leading to the rear courtyard. Kitchen / diner: with views of the old railway engines, selection of board games, well-equipped with gas hob, integrated oven and microwave, built in fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer.
Outside: secure, private enclosed suntrap rear courtyard with patio area and garden furniture.
Amenities: allocated parking space for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. 2 dogs welcome. Regret no smoking.
