From Holyhead, you can hop on a ferry for a day trip to Dublin, or drive over to the mainland and explore Bangor, Llandudno and the incredible Snowdonia National Park. Rhosneigr is a seaside resort on the west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead and the city of Bangor within easy reach. Close by are the attractions of Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle, Puffin Island, which is reachable by boat, and over on the mainland Llandudno offers excellent shopping, restaurants and a dry ski slope, while the Snowdonia National Park is also within easy reach.
