Fishermans Cottage cottage Northumbria
Fisherman`s Cottage is a traditionally-built stone cottage which has been brought fully up-to-date and is located in the fishing village of Seahouses in Northumberland. The three bedrooms comprise two doubles and one twin which with the family bathroom make it suitable for six people. There is a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a living flame electric fire. Just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour, Fisherman`s Cottage is a charming, pleasantly furnished and well-equipped property which is perfect for groups of family or friends enjoying this beautiful part of Northumberland.
Seahouses is a charming fishing village in an ideal situation - close to some of Northumberland`s loveliest beaches and in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The harbour is at the busy heart of Seahouses, and other attractions include a wide range of shops, restaurants and inns and opportunities for fishing, cycling, riding and golf. Keen walkers will enjoy the chance to tackle the six-mile Northumberland Coast Path, and daily boat trips are made to the Farne Islands. The islands are famous for their large seabird colonies and are the home of the Grey Seal. The majestic and historic Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles are within easy reach of Seahouses, and the Budle Bay Nature Reserve is another popular destination.
