Visit a charming local pub just 5.5 miles away an enjoyable 2-hour walk in good weather and enjoy a swift pint and some good food once you get there. You ll find plenty of attractions surrounding you featuring both outdoor and indoor activities. Head to Elgin and tour its stunning cathedral ruins or visit the beautiful walled gardens of Gordon Castle in Fochabers. whisky lovers will adore a trip to the local Glenfiddich Distillery whilst keen hikers and sportsmen will go wild for the Cairngorms National Park. From the homely hallway immediately find two spaces that are perfect for relaxing. The first is a more formal drawing room with a roaring open fire perfect for curling up with a good book and the second is a lounge with TV/DVD. Theres a flame-effect gas fire in this room retaining that cosy atmosphere throughout. Theres a handy bathroom with WC on this floor. The kitchen is a bright and spacious room boasting a large warming Aga as well as a backup electric oven and hob fridge freezer and dishwasher. Sit at the kitchen island and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or head into the garden via the French doors. For a family dinner the dining room is an excellent space to celebrate a family event or a mere catch up.
