Ground Floor
On the ground floor is a spacious sitting room with pine timber flooring, beamed ceilings, a beautiful brickwork fireplace with a wood burning stove - so cosy to snuggle up in front of in the cooler evenings! - and Flat screen TV/DVD player.
The fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen has integrated appliances plus there`s a useful pantry.
The dining area has a table and chairs to seat four people so you can enjoy meals together.
First Floor
Upstairs there is a smart double bedroom with a comfortable bed and hanging space, feature cast iron fireplaces and views of the famous cobbled Henrietta Street. There`s also a twin bedroom with full size 3` single beds.
The shower room has a good size shower, WC and hand wash basin.
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
