300 ACRES ORGANIC DAIRY AND ARABLE FARM, WITH FISHING AND SMALL GAMES BARN
Nestling in the peace of the countryside, set within 300 acres of an organic dairy farm, this delightful former granary, arranged on three floors, is ideal for those who wish to see the farm in action, enjoy beautiful woodland walks or join the Tarka Trail. The cottage has its own garden area where you can sit and relax.
For those wishing to explore the area, you are close to many of the tourist attractions including The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor Gardens and it is a 15 minute drive to the nearest sandy beach. Leisure facilities: guests are also welcome to coarse fish in the owner's pond. Unspoilt riverside walks and lots of wildlife.
Farm activities: visitors are welcome to take landrover trips around the farm (when the owners are available!) to meet the resident animals and you may even be lucky enough to see a cow calving or be able to collect eggs from the chickens. Games barn: enjoy a game of snooker, darts or table tennis.
The upside down style accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: on the ground floor 1 double with en-suite shower room and WC and 1 twin room. Oak staircase, from the lounge, to a gallery bunk bedroom ideal for children, with TV, Freeview, hi-fi, DVD and a selection of books.
Bathroom: downstairs with shower over bath and WC.
Lounge: upstairs with ample seating including a 2 and a 3 seater leather recliner sofa, with woodburner effect electric fire, TV and video. Kitchen / diner: with dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer, iPod dock / CD and many useful extras. Utility room: adjacent with washer / dryer.
