The spacious semi-detached property is one of a pair of cottages which sit within five acres of the owners grounds where guests are invited to enjoy this lovely open space at their leisure and take in the peace and serenity of the area. From the private balcony there are stunning far reaching views over the gardens and beyond to the Frome Valley. Located within the rolling picturesque Dorset countryside this is the perfect spot for guests looking for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings with an array of walks from the properties that lead over the picture postcard landscape. With their central location these cottages are ideal for guests looking to explore the wider area from Cerne Abbas with its famous giant carved into the chalk hillside Weymouth Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary Abbotsbury Swannery to the awe inspiring World Heritage Jurassic Coast that is a must for guests visiting the area to name but a few. On entering the cottage you will find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With exposed beams ample seating TV and DVD the lounge is ideal for relaxing in. There is also a sofa bed which can be made up to sleep either an adult or up to two children. With a pleasantly situated dining area and a stylish contemporary kitchen area equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment and microwave this is an ideal base for your self catering holiday. There is also a shared utility room with fridge and freezer facilities and a washing machine available in an outbuilding. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs you will find a comfortable and spacious super king-size bedroom which has French doors opening out onto the private enclosed balcony. Stepping outside you will have access to the shared lawns with a small ornamental pond (please take care with children). There is a seating area to the rear of the property where you can relax or you can explore the extensive grounds. You will also have use of a utility room which is shared with the other cottage on-site containing fridge and freezer facilities and a washing machine. Off-road parking is available in the shared driveway to the front of the cottage. Need to know: 1 bedroom with super king size bed on the first floor. 1 bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC on the ground floor. Sleeps 2 1 adult or 2 2 children additional adult or child/children on sofa bed in lounge. Kitchen (replaced February 2020) electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. TV and DVD. Shared utility room with fridge and freezer facilities and washing machine. The bedroom has access onto a private enclosed balcony with seating. Access to shared lawns with small ornamental pond (please take care with children). Electric and electric heating included. Wi Fi included. Towels are not provided. 2 dogs welcome.
