The spacious semi-detached property is one of a pair of cottages which sit within five acres of the owners grounds where guests are invited to enjoy this lovely open space at their leisure and take in the peace and serenity of the area. From the private balcony there are stunning far reaching views over the gardens and beyond to the Frome Valley. Located within the rolling picturesque Dorset countryside this is the perfect spot for guests looking for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings with an array of walks from the properties that lead over the picture postcard landscape. With their central location these cottages are ideal for guests looking to explore the wider area from Cerne Abbas with its famous giant carved into the chalk hillside Weymouth Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary Abbotsbury Swannery to the awe inspiring World Heritage Jurassic Coast that is a must for guests visiting the area to name but a few. On entering the cottage you will find yourself in the cosy and traditional open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With original exposed beams as well as a Smart TV and DVD the lounge is a cosy and relaxing place to relax in. The sofa bed can be made up to sleep either an adult or up to two children. There is a charming dining area and the contemporary kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment and microwave. There is also a shared utility room with fridge and freezer facilities and a washing machine available in an outbuilding. Heading upstairs you will find a spacious comfy bedroom with beams and a super-king size bed which is a zip-and-link bed and can be made into a twin on request. This lovely bedroom is a light and airy room and has French doors leading out onto a private enclosed balcony with seating a perfect spot where you can take in the views and perhaps spot some of the local wildlife. The bedroom also has a compact en-suite shower room with WC which is accessed via two steps down. Stepping outside guests are welcome to explore the five acres of the owners grounds and enjoy the open space at their leisure whilst taking in the peace and tranquillity of the area. There is a seating area to the rear of the property and you will have access to shared lawns with a small ornamental pond (please take care with children). Off-road parking is available in the shared driveway to the front of the cottage. Need to know: 1 bedroom with super king size zip and link bed (can be made into a twin on request at time of booking). 1 compact en suite shower room with WC which is accessed via two steps down from the bedroom. Sleeps 2 1 adult or 2 2 children additional adult or child/children on sofa bed in lounge. Kitchen (replaced February 2020) electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Smart TV/DVD. Shared utility room with fridge and freezer facilities and washing machine. The bedroom has access onto a private enclosed balcony with seating.
