This charming two-bedroom cottage sits against a backdrop of the Crynant Forest offering miles of walking and mountain biking trails with part of St Illtyds Way running through the forest. The villages of Crynant (2 miles) and Ystradgynlais (2 miles) are within easy reach and have local stores and welcoming pubs. Discover the industrial heritage of the local area at the Cefn Coed Colliery Museum (3 miles) formerly the deepest anthracite coal mine in the world. Get close to the primates at the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary (7 miles) home to chimpanzees spider monkeys and baboons among others. See the highest waterfall in South Wales at Henrhyd Falls (6.5 miles) where stunning cascades plunge 90ft through the rocks creating a dramatic sight. The vibrant city of Swansea (17.5 miles) offers designer stores cosmopolitan restaurants and lively nightlife while the stunning beaches of the Gower Peninsula (20.5 miles) are within easy reach.
