Situated in the quiet village of Gooseham, within the popular parish of Morwenstow, the barn which offers a cosy retreat, has been tastefully decorated with flair and offers a french style kitchen to add to its charm.
Based just off the border of Devon and Cornwall, and a couple of miles from the A39 that links the North Devon and North Cornwall coasts, makes this a great property for touring this extremely popular region. From the property, there are several miles of riverside and woodland walks to the coast of Marsland Mouth, ideal for walkers. There is also a local riding stables in the village which caters for all ages and abilities. 3 miles away is the 13th Century pub the Bush Inn, that has built up a good reputation locally for its restaurant and locally produced ales. The town of Bude is within easy reach and offers an extensive selection of restaurants, shops, indoor swimming pool as well as four breathtaking beaches for all to explore. The popular destinations of Tintagel, filled with the myth and legend of King Arthur and his round table knights, and the quaint fishing village of Boscastle, are scattered along this coastline, to name but a few of the many must see spots.
This spacious accommodation offers TWO bedrooms both located on the first floor with original, character beams throughout: 1 master double with en-suite shower room and WC and 1 twin bedroom, .
Bathroom: with bath, separate shower and WC also on the first floor.
Lounge: enjoys a large picturesque inglenook fireplace with woodburner, flatscreen TV, DVD (with a selection of DVD's) and Freeview. Dining area: just off the lounge. Kitchen / breakfast room: reached via 3 uneven slate steps and benefits from breakfast table, integrated range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Outside: the front of the property enjoys an enclosed paved patio with seating, and to the rear, a further paved, enclosed area with BBQ and seating.
