Perfectly situated in this area of outstanding natural beauty, it is well positioned for touring the whole of Cornwall. This spacious detached property is a stone's throw from the heart of the village with its local shop / Post Office and newly refurbished village pub 100 yards away. There is also a market garden within easy walking distance selling locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs.
Located 1 mile from one of Cornwall's quaintest coves, Gorran Haven with it's family friendly golden sandy beach protected by the old harbour wall. This stretch of South Cornish coastline offers some of the most stunning views along the South West Coast Path which is nearby, known to many as offering a taste of the 'original Cornwall'. For garden lovers, the cottage is 14 miles drive from the now world famous Eden Project and 2 miles from the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Caerhays Castle, gardens and beach are 3.5 miles away and well worth a visit during spring when the gardens are at their best. 6 miles away is Pentewan village and it's large sandy beach where cycle hire is available to explore the cycle routes of the Pentewan Valley, alternatively you may wish to hire or buy watersports equipment from Ocean Sports. Mevagissey's picturesque harbour and narrow streets are the perfect setting for a visit with many cafes, good restaurants and shops. Truro, the regional capital of Cornwall, is 17 miles and offers something for even the most discerning guests with a selection of shopping, from boutiques to department stores, Hall for Cornwall, multi-screen cinemas and Cathedral. Charlestown, often used as a film set, is home to traditional tall ships and Shipwreck Museum as well as many delightful pubs, restaurants and shops. This is a small sample of the wealth of attractions that are all within easy reach.

Shower room: with WC located on the first floor. Lounge / diner: with feature fireplace and woodburner, (the first basket of logs free), large flatscreen TV with DVD and selection of films, Satellite, PlayStation 2 and selection of games and iPod dock. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Freezer and second fridge located under the stairs.
Outside: enclosed, sunny rear garden with lawn and patio area with garden furniture.
