Located in the popular Peak District village of Great Longstone complete with grocery shops a restaurant and pub all on the doorstep the cottage offers wonderful village accommodation. For walkers and cyclists the nearby trails across the Monsal and Millers Dale are not to be missed. Elsewhere the English grandeur of Chatsworth House and its parklands offer a great place to spend the day exploring. The picturesque market town of Bakewell and the historical villages of Eyam and Foolow with its village green and duck pond are just a short drive away. Stepping through into the cottage leads you into the kitchen which offers electric oven and hob fridge microwave and washing machine. There is a foldaway table which provides extra dining space if needed. Leading through to the lounge/diner which offers a spacious dining area enough to sit the whole family around and then a lounge area with gas fire comfortable sofas TV/DVD and a stack of books and DVDs to help with those rainy days. Heading upstairs the cottage offers two bedrooms a double bedroom which overlooks the lovely cricket field and a twin bedroom this room benefits from a basin no queues for teeth brushing at bed time. The bathroom is bright and airy and offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside the property has a courtyard area to the rear with a table and chairs situated overlooking the green and hills beyond. There is parking available in the nearby pub car park just a short walk away. Guests are welcome to unload and load their car outside the cottage. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Gas fire. Parking is available in the nearby pub car park. 1 dog welcome.
