Guillemot cottage Cornwall
A two-bedroom cottage located at the end of the West Pentire headland, Guillemot is a beautiful coastal bungalow offering sea views.
Decorated with bright, summery colours, this well presented cottage certainly has a coastal feel to it. With a fully enclosed patio at the back of the property, it`s a great place to enjoy the stunning views over Goose Rock and the Newquay coast. The property also benefits from being pet-friendly, making it an ideal location for those wishing to bring their dogs.
Guillemot is also just a five-minute walk from Crantock Beach one way, and a short walk to Polly Joke Beach the other, making it a haven for families, walkers or surfers.
A few minutes` walk away is The Bowgie serving food and drink with the same fantastic view. Also near-by is C-Bay, a Bistro with great food and a lovely family atmosphere, and of course, the view.
Just five minutes` drive away, or a 20-minute walk, you will be able to find Crantock village. Located in the village you will find local amenities including two pubs, a grocery store and a post office, along with other village attractions.
Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There`s stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor`s paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
