Gwennal cottage Cornwall
Gwennal is perfectly placed days out on the beach at Perranporth and a spot of shopping and lunch at the Cathedral city of Truro. Situated on working farm in a courtyard within a group of seven other holiday cottages. The barn is arranged over one floor with wider doors and ramps. The open plan interior sleeps 2 in one bedroom with superking bed that can be twin beds on request. A separate shower room is equipped with handrails and there is a spacious living room with seating area and separate kitchen. Outside a private hot tub awaits in an enclosed, private courtyard furnished with patio table and chairs. Enjoy a spot of complimentary fishing in the ponds on site or enjoy a barbecue with friends at the central gazebo. Gwennal is perfect for a couple escape to the countryside or book as a get together with friends and family.
Cadgwith, meaning cove of the thicket, is a village and fishing port. It is on the Lizard Peninsula between The Lizard and Coverack. Cadgwith has two beaches separated by a promontory called "The Todden", thought to mean laying ground in Cornish. To the north-east is the larger beach, made mostly of shingle with a shallow slope, referred to as Cadgwith Cove, Big Beach, The Cove, Fishing Beach, or the Working Cove; all the fishermen work from this beach. The other smaller beach on the south-west side is a mixture of sand and large boulders and is called Little Cove or Little Beach and used as the swimming beach by locals and holidaymakers.
