Harber Scar is a 300 year old, stone-built terraced cottage in the Yorkshire Dales village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale, home of the famous Three Peaks Mountains and just six miles from the town of Settle. Able to sleep five people in one double, one twin and one single bedroom, the cottage also benefits from a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a multi fuel stove. To theexterior of the cottage is a large shared, enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Set across the road from one of the pubs in the village and with stunning views all around the village, Harber Scar is the perfect holiday cottage for a family who want to explore all of the delights of the Yorkshire Dales.
Horton-in-Ribblesdale sits in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has a lovely Norman church and two pubs. The surrounding countryside is magnificent, offering the ideal location for fell walking, with the famous Three Peaks Walk, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough offering some of the most challenging walks in the country. The Settle-Carlisle Railway passes through the village and passes some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The nearby town of Settle offers a wide variety of pubs and restaurants whilst the market square features the Shambles, an historic 3-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above, and the Town Hall.
