Set within the quaint village of Metherell, this comfortable property adjoining the main farmhouse offers relaxing accommodation for all seasons and conveniently located a short walk from two local pubs, both of which offer a warm welcome and an extensive menu which is ideal for those who fancy a night off cooking.
Located on the Cornwall and Devon border, an ideal base for touring both the north and south coasts and beyond. From your doorstep there are a host of walks that lead you through the Tamar Valley with its World Heritage status and the rugged Dartmoor National Park. Cotehele National Trust property is within 1 mile. The historic town of Tavistock with its pannier market offers a wealth of restaurants, pubs, shops as well as cinema and swimming pool.
This spacious attractive attached barn is approached via 3 steps, once inside all on one level and offers ONE bedroom: double with wall mounted TV, Freeview and en-suite shower room with WC. Lounge / kitchen: open-plan, well-equipped with flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview, hi-fi, iPod dock, ample seating around the woodburner, breakfast bar, double oven with hob and extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, washer / dryer, fridge and separate freezer.
Outside: patio with garden furniture and BBQ to the side of the property and access to a large shared exercise area for pets.
Amenities: off-road parking outside the cottage. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included during summer months (October - April an extra £20 per week fuel charge payable to the owner on arrival). Wi-fi available. 2 dogs by arrangement, most breeds accepted. Regret no smoking within the property.
