Nestled in an idyllic rural position on a working beef and sheep grassland farm. The farm is perfectly positioned in the North Pennines idea for all outdoor pursuits and is located directly on the coast to coast famous Waskerley Way. Golfers can enjoy an array of local courses including the renowned course at Slaley Hall and fisherman will be delighted with the nearby Waskerley and Derwent Reservoirs. Visit the nearby medieval village of Blanchland explore the World Heritage site of Hadrians Wall or travel a little further afield and visit the historic towns of Hexham Corbridge or the stunning heritage coastline. Entering this wonderful contemporary barn conversion into the light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax on the spacious comfy sofa after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding natural beauty and perhaps enjoy a great movie or catch up with your favourite TV programme. The well-equipped bespoke kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer and a handy washing machine. Enjoy romantic meals together with ample dining space and comfy bar stools. Heading up the stairs to the first floor with quirky LED lighting you are met with the wonderful spacious double bedroom with ample storage space. Venturing outside there is a bench directly outside the property an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee or cup of tea. Located opposite the cottage is the seating area with table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining or lazy evening stargazing perhaps with a good local beer or a nice glass of wine. There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds that visit the garden such as barn owls little owls short/long eared owls red kite and woodpeckers and guests are welcome to explore the farmland through the established tracks help feed the lambs. There is ample off-road parking available directly in front of the cottage. Need to know: 1 bedroom double. 1 en suite shower room.
