The village of Hartland offers shops a Post Office craft outlets and three vibrant pubs for sampling local produce. Set out along the South West Coast Path and discover breath-taking views with the chance of spotting some local marine life. A short drive will bring you to a string of beaches most notably the two miles of golden sand at Westward Ho! while the numerous hidden coves are well-worth exploring. During your stay why not pay a visit to some of the other local attractions such as the picturesque cobbled streets of Clovelly and historic Hartland Abbey? Deceptively spacious inside this charming cottage combines fresh contemporary decor with interesting original features throughout including exposed ceiling beams an inglenook fireplace and flagstone floors. On the ground floor a farmhouse-style kitchen/diner offers plenty of space for many hands to make light work. There is also a shower room with WC just off the utility area. After your meals take to the lounge to relax on one of the comfortable sofas and enjoy the TV/DVD. With exposed beams above and a large stone inglenook fireplace this is a cosy and inviting room with plenty of character. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms one spacious king (accessed via two steps down) and one twin. Both bedrooms benefit from charming sash windows uneven ceilings and share a bathroom with WC on the first floor and a shower room with WC on the ground floor. Head outside and follow the steps up to find an enclosed rear terraced garden with seating ideal for al fresco dining during the summer months.
