Guests can walk from the property to the village centre of Hawkshead where they will find shops a pub and a number of National Trust properties. Just a few miles away is Claife Heights a stunning vantage point above Lake Windermere which has a purpose-built viewing station. Five miles to the west of the property is Coniston Water which with its boating centre is the perfect place for those who want to hire boats try stand-up paddle boarding or give windsurfing a go.
