Set on a small courtyard with just three other cottages in the heart of the Brecon Beacons the property has a welcoming feel. Its around 1 mile from the visitor centre to pick up maps and local information. Local pubs can be found in Libanus and Sunnybridge both around 3 miles from the house while the attractive market town of Brecon 6 miles away is a pleasant place to explore with a collection of shops and restaurants. Shed the coats and boots in the entrance hall of this traditional farm workers cottage and step into the fantastic country kitchen full of original features from the flagstone floor to the atmospheric beams. Enjoy family meals cooked on the range oven at the circular pine table with views over the garden and get the kids helping out with the washing up in the Belfast sink. Sink into the sofas after a day out in the wilderness and watch a family movie or get the wood burner going and warm the toes on cold evenings. Upstairs the pitched roof and latched doors add a lovely character to the two bedrooms. An additional single bed in the double room plus a twin room allows plenty of choice for families to settle in and the family bathroom on the same floor has a corner bath that young kids will love a wallow in as well as a useful shower. Outside the enclosed garden has furniture for sunny picnics and a rotary dryer to get those emergency washing loads turned around quickly. Need to know: 1 double with additional single bed, 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Electric range oven with a five ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Storage heating. Travel cot and highchair avaliable. Wood burner with logs provided but not kindling. TV with freeview. Wi Fi included. Good mobile reception.
