Hideaway Lodge cottage North York Moors and Coast
What a lovely property - a very stylish interior plus the advantage of outside space and private parking in this pretty village, a c. fifteen minute walk to the beautiful bay with its golden sands.
The lodge is on one level (with three steps up to the property) and has an open plan living area with a smart sitting room with Smart TV (why not log onto your Netflix account and catch up on those movies!), comfortable seating and a light and airy decor.
There is a dining area with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy meals together; French doors lead to a large veranda - perfect to enjoy the fresh air over breakfast or a nightcap under the stars before bedtime!
There is also a breakfast bar with seating plus a well-equipped and immaculate kitchen with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, wine fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.
A hallway leads to the bedrooms; a smart twin bedroom with full size 3` beds and wardrobe. The master bedrooms suite has a king size bed and a closet plus an elegant shower room with large shower, WC and hand washbasin in a vanity unit.
There is a gorgeous house bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
The historic fishing village of Runswick Bay is without doubt one of the true gems of the Yorkshire Coast, if not the whole of the UK. This picturesque SE-facing village situated 9 miles from Whitby sits in a beautiful sheltered sandy-beached bay backed by spectacular cliffs and moorland scenery. Relatively un-commercialised and with vehicular traffic restricted, the village provides the perfect setting in which to relax and unwind. Relish in taking long walks on either the sandy beach or along the Cleveland Way on the clifftop above. There is much to do in the local area, whether it`s visiting Whitby with its famous Abbey, Staithes with its pretty shops, cafes and superb art gallery, or touring the dramatic North York Moors. The lower village houses a local inn serving food along with a spectacularly situated cafe, whilst nearby Hinderwell provides 2 inns, a fish and chip shop, a local butchers and a garage/petrol station. A Co-op is situated at Staithes 2 miles away.
