Home Farm Cottage cottage Ireland
Located 1.5 miles from the village of Campile, this detached property is built in a traditional style, and offers very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. The living area is open plan and welcoming, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. There is also a larger sitting room with an open fire, and a sun room, ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The main double bedroom has built in wardrobes and an en-suite, and there is also a double room and a family room with four single beds. Outside, there is an enclosed garden, and within easy reach of this lovely property are sandy beaches, the JFK Arboretum, the Hook Peninsula and Wexford city.
Campile, which means `head of the creek`, lies to the south of County Wexford, 10 miles from New Ross. Campile is home to the ruins of Dunbrody Abbey, whose visitor centre and yew-tree maze prove popular with visitors each year. Also in the region are Kilmokea House and Gardens, the JFK Arboretum and JFK ancestral home and the beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach at Duncannon. Amenities can be found in New Ross or Wexford, and Campile itself has a shop and a pub.
