A short drive from Bangor-on-Dee with its local shops and eateries. The vibrant towns of Wrexham and Llangollen are also close by together with the market town of Oswestry and the historic City of Chester. Great days out can be spent at the Bangor-on-Dee and Chester racecourses ride on the horse drawn canal boat or steam trains in Llangollen and at National Trusts Chirk Castle or Erddig. Visit Pontcyllte Aqueduct Plassey Chester Zoo Beeston Castle and Woodland Park to name but a few attractions nearby. Walk and cycle in the beautiful surrounding countryside and valleys go fishing white water rafting or golfing. Its all on offer at this all year-round destination. The house is attached to the owners wing though your privacy is assured. This 16th century Tudor Inn is steeped in history and full of period charm with exposed beams feature fireplace unique doors quirky staircase and original floorboards. Walk into the kitchen and around to the hall with space for your coats and boots. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range style electric oven and hob fridge/freezer drinks fridge microwave dishwasher and all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to rustle up a meal. Walk through to the lovely dining room with the feature fireplace housing the wood burner perfect to enjoy a meal together and catch up on your news. After dinner relax in the lounge or the snug both rooms have comfortable sofas and a TV perfect place to plan your holiday activities read a good book or watch a film. For a friendly game at the end of a full day there is a small pool table in one of the spacious hallways and a table football in the other. Take a leisurely shower in the stylish shower room with shower and WC or unwind in the freestanding bath in the contemporary bathroom with WC. Head up the quirky wooden staircase to the first floor you will find the spacious twin bedroom and the double with a TV for your comfort. At the other end of the house you can choose from the other spacious double with a TV or a further lovely twin bedroom. Outside you have lots of options to enjoy the great outdoors. Relax in the hot tub with views over the garden fish in the wildlife pond enjoy al fresco dining maybe a BBQ enjoy a picnic by the pond or gather round the fire pit after a full day out.
