Surrounded by tranquil countryside Holly Cottage is a peaceful hideaway perfect for an escape back to nature. While the cottage is secluded it is not completely detached from civilisation and is situated close to the idyllic village of Blanchland which houses shops tearooms and a post office. From hiking to fishing and sailing theres plenty to do in the local area. The beautiful Derwent Reservoir is a particularly popular spot with keen fishers as it is brimming with rainbow trout as well as hikers who enjoy the breath-taking reservoir views. Only 11 miles from the property are the lovely market towns of Hexham and Corbridge as well as the world-famous Hadrians Wall. The cottage is cosy and welcoming and is equipped with all the facilities needed for a family holiday. The ground floor hosts a spacious lounge with comfortable chairs and TV/DVD. The fully-equipped breakfasting kitchen has an electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher fridge and freezer. You ll also find a spacious dining room with a large table seating seven and a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor. The four bedrooms two double one twin and one single can all be found on the first floor alongside the large bathroom which contains a shower over bath and WC. There is also an additional shower room upstairs. The cottage is furnished throughout to a very high standard and there is plenty of space for the family to either spend time together or relax separately.
