Inglenook Cottage is the epitome of a chocolate-box cottage, and has indeed featured on postcards, in books and in the press. Brimming with character and situated alongside many other thatched properties in the idyllic village of Broad Campden, Inglenook Cottage is a superb base for visiting central and North Cotswold attractions and villages, as well as picturesque walks directly from the front door.

300 years old, this Grade II listed cottage used to be the village smithy. Inside the cosy sitting room is a huge inglenook fireplace, complete with seat and bread oven where you can snuggle up in front of a roaring log fire. There are countless exposed beams, a stone staircase and ancient wooden floorboards. The property is sympathetically restored with top quality modern appliances, a beautifully fitted wooden kitchen, an inviting bedroom with a king-size bed and a cottage-style bathroom with a claw foot bath and shower. Outside, is a small, sheltered walled courtyard garden with a patio area and garden furniture to enjoy the Cotswold sunshine.

Ideal for a romantic escape, the village pub (The Bakers Arms) can be reached on foot, and a very short drive away is Chipping Campden, an historic market wool town, with an abundance of independent shops, restaurants, wine bars and teashops. A little further afield are the popular Cotswolds towns of Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Upper and Lower Slaughter, and Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon is just a 30 minute drive away.
