FABULOUS VIEWS ACROSS THE ESTUARY AND CLOSE TO PUBS AND RESTAURANTS, SLEEPS 4 + 1
In an elevated position a short stroll to the village centre this spacious bungalow offers a great base from which to explore the area. Stroll to the sand dunes and estuary beach popular with bathers and sand castle makers, as well as the village shop, yacht club, pubs and very well-known restaurants.
Seasonally, take the passenger ferry across to the historic fishing village of Appledore which also offers a range of good pubs and restaurants. The Tarka Trail is just a few minutes away and is perfect for walkers, with some lovely riverside views along the former railway line. Other attractions include Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep and National Trust Arlington Court. In the evenings relax on the terrace and enjoy the sunsets or enjoy village hospitality in the local pub.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with river views and 1 twin.
Bathroom: spacious, bath with shower over, bidet and WC. Separate WC. Lounge / diner: with TV / DVD and superb views across the rooftops and estuary to Appledore and beyond. Kitchen / diner: with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment. Utility room: with washing machine.
Outside: terrace area at the front of the property with seating and views. At the rear is a lawn area with summer house.
Amenities: ample parking for several cars with double garage and driveway. Bed linen, electricity and central heating included. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 dog welcome.
Additional info: additional child can be accommodated on a Z bed with bed linen provided by the owner.
