Recently refurbished this south facing, impressive house on Instow Quay is virtually on the banks of the River Torridge.
Equipped and finished to a very high standard, this superb period property, 200 yards from a sandy beach and estuary with quayside pubs and restaurants, is situated in one of Devon's most prestigious locations and benefits from stunning river views. The North Devon Yacht Club is opposite, allowing you to watch the boats come and go from your lounge window. Within a short drive is a wealth of popular, safe sandy beaches and attractions to suit all ages. Take a riverside walk to the market town of Bideford with a choice of shops and pubs, pannier market and open-air markets. North Devon's coastline is never far away and Westward Ho! beach is 5 minutes' drive, offering 2 miles of golden sands, popular with bathers and surfers. Horse riding and tennis are available and the South West Coast Path offers breathtaking, cliff-top views. Cyclists and ramblers will love the famous disused railway line, The Tarka Trail, which is 10 yards from the property. Explore the rugged beauty of Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. Keen golfers can enjoy the nearby championship golf courses at Westward Ho! and Saunton. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and offers SEVEN bedrooms: all of which have wall mounted TVs, 5 with river views situated on the first floor, 1 king-size with en-suite with bath, separate shower and WC and 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC. On the second floor 1 king-size with additional single and en-suite with bath, separate shower and WC. 1 twin bedroom and 1 double with additional single, next to shower room. On the third floor: 1 twin and 1 single, both next to shower room.
