Jackdaw Quarry Retreat cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
Jackdaw Quarry Retreat is a detached, stone-clad cottage located near the village of Carnforth in Lancashire. It homes three bedrooms; one king-size with en-suite, an additional king-size with zip/link beds and a twin bedroom. There is also a lower ground floor bathroom. Upstairs you will find a shower room, housing a walk-in shower, basin and WC. On the ground floor you will also find a open-plan sitting room with diner and kitchen. Off-road parking is available. Outside, you will have two balcony areas, on housing a hot tub, sitting and a sauna room. To the back of the property is a large patio area, posing a summer house. Clearwater is a stylish and homely base ideal for families.
Carnforth is a small town located within Lancashire, situated at the north east end of Morecambe Bay. This town homes the railway scene from the Oscar-winning director, Sir Dean Lean`s classic, a Brief Encounter. Visitors are able to watch the film in the visitor centre or take a photo under the famous clock. The town also has easy access to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, where you can explore miles of walks.
