SET WITHIN 10 ACRES THIS RECENTLY CONVERTED DETACHED BARN HAS WONDERFUL COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS. BABES IN ARMS WELCOME BUT REGRET NO OLDER CHILDREN
This cosy barn conversion is far from any main road, on a hillside looking over idyllic Cornish countryside, with the owners' home nearby but not overlooking it.
The property is approached via a long private driveway and is perfect for those requiring peace and tranquillity. There are no street lights so you can watch the stars. The only sounds are countryside sounds as you watch another lovely sunset from the raised balcony. Wildlife is encouraged and you can see and listen for foxes, buzzards, owls and deer. There are some wonderful walks direct from the property and surrounding areas, perfect for taking dogs. You will be ideally placed for touring both Cornwall and Devon with a host of attractions to suit all tastes, which include Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project, Plymouth with its National Marine Aquarium and The Barbican, Sterts Open Air Theatre, Siblyback Lake, Kit Hill, Caradon Hill, Morwellham Quay (as featured on the Victorian Farm), St Mellion, Launceston and Trethorne Golf Courses and several National Trust properties including Cotehele House which boasts one of the most spectacular gardens with views across the Tamar Valley. If industrial heritage is of interest Dingles Steam Village, Launceston Steam Railway and the Finch Foundry, provide some interesting days out during your cottage holiday.
The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers: ONE double bedroom. Shower room: with WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: with TV with Freeview, DVD, multi-fuel burner (logs and coal included) and patio doors leading to a raised balcony with seating. Kitchen area, well-equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave. Utility shed with washing machine and fridge / freezer.
Outside: enclosed dog-friendly garden area.
Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and underfloor heating included. Wi-fi available. 2 dogs welcome, more by arrangement. Babes in arms welcome but regret no older children.
Additional info: bike storage. Space is limited so a travel cot could be put outside the bedroom door in the main living area. Private water supply from a spring.
Location: beach north or south coast 20 miles, pub a short drive (2 miles) and shop 3 miles . Arrival: 3.30pm.
