This property was originally part of the Grenville Estate belonging to Lt. Col Carteret Thynne and Lady Thynne, prominent historical figures in Kilkhampton.
Dating back to the 19th century, the property is situated in the heart of a holiday park. There are exposed beams, oak panelling and mullioned windows throughout with an impressive galleried landing and reception area complete with a re-enactment mural of the Battle of Stamford Hill. A short stroll will take you to the village centre with pubs, shops and takeaways, you will also be ideally placed for enjoying the many sheltered coves and long sandy surfing beaches which the North coast is renowned for. There are also plenty of attractions to enjoy close by which include The Milky Way near Bideford, Bude with it's canal, Splashpool, indoor and outdoor bowling, tennis courts, putting greens and much more. Leisure facilities: the use of the restaurant, bar and entertainment facilities at the adjoining Penstowe Manor is free.
