Situated off Kilmington village green with far-reaching countryside views, these delightful cottages are ideally placed for touring the area. Tastefully converted from 18th century traditional flint barns, incorporating many original features.
Virtually on the Devon / Dorset border, this little known, unspoilt haven is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ideal for anyone seeking a 'get away from it all' holiday or short break. The World Heritage Jurassic Coast and seaside port of Lyme Regis are 6 miles away. The regency resort of Sidmouth with its beaches, shops, restaurants and galleries and the coastal villages of Beer and Branscombe are all nearby. Other local attractions including National Trust properties and gardens. Kilmington is 2 miles from Axminster with a village shop and Post Office, well-stocked farm shop and petrol station with shop and bistro. In the evenings stroll to one of the two thatched village pubs, both serving good food.
Outside: shared use of enclosed gardens, fields, orchards and woodland with views across meadows and farmland to the Axe Valley beyond. Shared utility room: with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
