The 3 luxury chalets are a stone’s throw away from the sea shore, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Each lodge is completed to a high standard, cosy but with 21st century comfort.
Perfectly positioned for sea, river and loch fishing, walking, paddling, swimming or simply enjoying the scenery and wildlife reserves, the lodges are situated in a picturesque area of Dumfries & Galloway. A stroll across the private beach on the estate will bring you to the local pub. Nestled on the beautiful Solway Firth, yet only 13 miles away from the market town of Dumfries, the properties provide a fabulous base to visit local attractions including Mabie Farm Park, Caerlaverock Castle, Drumlanrig Castle, Powfoot and Southerness golf courses, mountain biking at Dalbeattie, Loch Ken water sports and Mersehead RSPB bird reserve.
All the lodges are detached, comfortably furnished and thoughtfully decorated within large private grounds. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to explore the private beaches, woodland and farmland through the paths provided. Stabling: available with direct access to beaches and bridleways through the estate for riding.
Outside: half an acre of enclosed shared grounds within this stunning estate, BBQ, garden furniture and decked area.
Amenities: ample parking, bed linen, towels, central heating and electric included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome, additional dogs may be accepted by arrangement.
Location: beautiful sandy private beaches on site, pub 1 mile and shops 3 miles. Arrival: 4pm.
The accommodation is arranged over one floor and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size zip-and-link and 1 twin.
Bathroom: with shower over bath with WC. Lounge / kitchen / diner: open-plan and spacious with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and flatscreen TV / DVD with Freeview. Kitchen area: modern and well-equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.
