This property is located in a prime location at the heart of the Lake District in an area renowned for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. It also packed with National Trust properties pubs and tearooms. A little further away around a fifteen-minute drive away is the town of Ambleside from where visitors can take cruises on Lake Windermere to Bowness and Lakeside. It is a popular tourism hub and as such offers a range of shops and eateries. The location of the property means that it is a wonderful base for everyone who wants to explore the region on foot whether they want a gentle stroll or a challenging climb. For visitors who want to take to the water nearby Coniston Water has a fantastic boating centre which has a wide range of equipment for hire including paddle boards canoes rowing boats and motor boats. This property occupies half a converted 17th century Lakeland barn. All of the accommodation is on the ground floor. On entering the property guests will come to the handy sunny porch which has plenty of space for leaving your muddy boots before coming to the dining room.
