This delightful cottage has been renovated with great attention to detail providing modern and comfortable accommodation. An ideal base for couples to explore this lovely part of Cornwall yet provides a peaceful retreat to relax with far reaching views of the neighbouring farmland.
The beautiful harbour of Fowey is also within easy reach, where the renowned author Daphne Du Maurier lived. A festival is held each May, which is a celebration of her life and work. Fowey Regatta week (August) is a popular event, with competitive sailing events, street carnival, the Red Arrows display team and much more. The picturesque and unspoilt harbour of Charlestown is also worth a visit. Built in the early 19th century for the export of copper and china clay, it is home to a collection of old ships which have been used in film projects, and its Shipwreck and Heritage Centre has the largest UK collection of artefacts and treasure recovered from shipwrecks.You will be ideally placed to visit some of the many National Trust properties including Lanhydrock House with its extensive grounds. The Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are also easily reached, as are the North Cornish coastal towns of Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Padstow. The area is perfect for all year-round activities, such as walking, cycling and riding and has some of the most scenic golf courses in the country.
The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: king-size sleigh bed (situated down a few stairs) with flatscreen TV and access to the private patio area.
