Laughtons Retreat is a ground floor cottage located in Stonesfield, Oxfordshire. Wuitely situated on a small, working family farm, the property is surrounded by fields, footpaths and bridleways with few disturbances in the expansive countryside retreat. Stonesfield is a small working village located about 4 miles to the north of Woodstock and about 8 miles from Oxford. There is a good size shops selling all the basic goods, a good local pub The White Horse, plus a hairdresser. Stonefield as the name suggests, was once known for its stone and today there is still the Stonesfield Slate, a locally mined stone. The Oxfordshire Way, passes through the village and is very close to the farm, and is well worth a good walk, it takes you through some stunning countryside. Adjacent to the farmhouse is a small farm shop and highly regarded local butcher.
