There are miles of parkland walks from the doorstep or you could head to the charming market town of Howden (4.5 miles) which has a choice of restaurants pubs and independent shops. You can enjoy river walks to the charming village of Blacktoft (5.5 miles). This is a great spot for nature-lovers with North Cave Wetlands (15 miles) and Saltmarshe Delph Nature Reserve (0.25 miles) nearby. A little further afield you can explore the historic city of York (24 miles) and the thriving market town of Beverley (22 miles).
