This is a fantastic base for exploring the Brecon Beacons with the Visitor Centre (2 miles) and Storey Arms Activity Centre (3.5 miles) both within easy reach. Walkers can head off to Pen y Fan (6 miles) or explore the remains of the Iron Age fort at Pen-y-Crug (6 miles). Also within easy reach are the Cantref Adventure Farm (7.5 miles) Maen Llia (7 miles) Llangorse Lake (11.5 miles) and Usk Reservoir (13 miles). You will be able to find refreshment in the local villages of Libanus (0.5 miles) and Defynnog (5 miles). The popular market town of Brecon (5 miles) has plenty of great shops pubs and restaurants a 1930s-style cinema cathedral and a theatre. Entering this lovely property which features whitewashed stone walls wooden flooring and exposed wooden beams you will find yourself in the delightful lounge. This is a lovely space to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day complete with a comfortable sofa and chairs SkyTV and a pretty cart arch window allowing light to flood in. A couple of steps lead up to the dining room which is perfect for a romantic meal for two. The kitchen has an oven microwave fridge and freezer so you can prepare your favourite meals. The ground floor also has a bathroom with a bath and WC. The fairly steep cottage-style staircase leads directly up into the bright and spacious bedroom. This relaxing room has exposed beams and a vaulted ceiling with a comfortable double bed TV and a futon which can be made up for an additional guest. From the bed theres a view through the windows so you can stargaze into the night. Outside you can enjoy a morning coffee in the small courtyard area which has a table chairs and a BBQ.
