A converted granary renovated to a good standard in an idyllic setting with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Situated in the grounds of a larger property, off a quiet country lane, this is a perfect retreat for those wishing to enjoy the peace and seclusion of the Devon countryside whilst benefiting from easy access to the delightful market town of Bideford (4 miles) with its shops, pubs and restaurants.
The 2 miles of golden sands at Westward Ho! are just 10 minutes drive away, or you can enjoy the sand dunes at Instow with its lovely seafront restaurants and pubs. Riding, fishing, cycling on the Tarka Trail and a wealth of good walks can all be accessed locally. The village itself has a well known local family pub within a 5 minute walk, serving good food.
The accommodation is mostly on one floor and offers TWO bedrooms: approached via 3 steps down is 1 super-king-size double (zip-and-link can be a twin on request) with additional external door, and 1 single bedroom. Shower room: with WC and heated towel rail. Lounge / diner: spacious with woodburner, TV, DVD and Freeview. Off of the lounge is a small conservatory area with seating to enjoy the far-reaching countryside views. Kitchen: small yet well-equipped with cooker, washing machine, fridge with ice compartment and microwave.
Outside: fenced patio area with shrubs, bench, table and chairs.
Amenities: off-road parking for 1 car. 2 dogs by arrangement. Bed linen, towels, electric and first basket of logs included. Each room has either an electric heater or night storage heater. Wi-fi available.
